Dr. Celia Edell

Hi! I'm currently a FRQSC Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia.

I have a PhD in Philosophy (McGill), MA in Philosophy (Sheffield) and BA in Philosophy (Western). What can I say, I really like philosophy.

I also love the internet, and have over a decade of experience creating accessible educational content. As a vocal and visible feminist online, I've experienced many sides of the internet, and I'm invested in making it a better social space.

My current project combines my two passions:

I'm using my philosophical background to research internet ethics, particularly to do with accountability and relations of blame online.
